The Society’s quiz night was a great success, everyone really enjoyed it and there was a fun and festive atmosphere. Thank you to all who supported the night and brought friends to enjoy it too. It is an important part of the Society’s calendar, a great social event and helps the finances of the Society too, which is much needed. Many thanks to the Quiz Master, Mary Walters, who organises this every year, and to Angie Pawlyszyn who had to do the scoring. The fish and chip supper from Frankies at Grayshott was delicious and followed by choc ices, many thanks to Carolynne Winchester for organising and fetching them. The night takes quite a bit of work and the committee all work hard to make sure it is enjoyable, so thank you to everyone involved in setting up tables, and, as always, the washing up at the end. The winners were The League of Extraordinary Guessers who won a case of wine which was well received.
