Sue Rawlings

7pm-9pm
Bluebell Wood
I'm inspired by light and colour and I'm fascinated by contrasts, whether it's objects, landscapes or textures. I use mainly acrylics as I like to use different tools to apply paint. I exhibit my paintings in Hampshire and also host workshops for people who would like to experiment with materials, or just have a fun day!

Coloured Pencil
Hampshire based artist with a love for nature. I am surrounded by woodland which is full of wildlife. From this I draw my inspiration as well as nature as a whole. I have always loved Owls and they feature highly in my paintings
I had always wanted to paint in watercolour but never had the opportunity or time until just before I retired from a 25 year teaching career. Having got to grips with watercolour I also started to enjoy the art of mixed media and I am now branching out into the world of coloured pencils and thoroughly enjoying the experience which I hope shows through in my artwork. I value my painting days and the feeling of creativity and tranquility they provide. Hopefully looking through my website you will get as much enjoyment from my artwork as I have got from them. There is a little piece of me in each artwork.
I have recently started taking commissions for pet portraits.
